Springtime, flowers are blooming, I have green fingers from planting and the goatee kids are bouncing off the ground as if they were all on pogo sticks or wearing springs on their hoofs. They do know how to enjoy a sunny day.

I would like to thank all that voted in our last election for Board Members and at this time congratulate the three new Board Members. These three new Board Members will be taking office this June. The three new Board Members are Susan Prechtl, Chris Utterback and Pat Copa. Do to the fact that we have two vacancies on the board at this time, the two top vote receivers will be stepping into office now fill those vacancies. So Susan and Chris, at this time have started their board duties. In June, Pat will join in. Welcome Ladies and thank you for those that ran, but didn't get the position, I hope you will all try next time around.

We had a lively Board Meeting last month. If you recall, our board meetings are through e-mail. I send out an agenda. The items for that agenda come from the membership, the board and tabled items from the last meeting. We have a set time to get through all the items and that, which is not completed, is tabled to the next meeting. It is not as perfect as the Board meeting face to face, but it is not to bad a way to get procedures discussed and completed. After a meeting, the minutes are then posted in these newsletters, so please take a look at what the Board has been up to. Also, if you would like to be included in the meetings, please send me your e-mail address. We need to have those that wish to join start with the beginning of the meetings. It is too hard to add you after the meeting starts. So contact me if you would like to be on what we call the cc group list.

The board voted on having Susan Prechtl and Jamie Land be our official newsletter editors. Ya! They did our last newsletter and are very excited about bringing new ideas to the PBA newsletter. They will be working together to put your newsletter together, so please sending them information that they can share with the membership. Remember, they are volunteering, and therefore need your help in getting information for the newsletters. And try to say thank you for doing this for us, the PBA membership, the next time you see them out and about.

We still have a few jobs that we need volunteers for. One is the PBA Show Secretary. At this time, we have no Show Secretary and therefore, our sanction show wins are not officially recorded. The last show that was sanctioned is still waiting in the wings for someone to step forward to do this job. The other job is Marketing. If anyone is interested in these or any other committees, please contact me.

The next Board meeting will be June 24th and all agenda items must be on my desk by June 22.
